One of Over the Edge’s most challenging jobs to date is the right of way clearing for a penstock on a Micro Hydro project in Hope, BC. We used our Spider Excavator to access the steeper parts of the penstock right of way. The majority of the work was on 100% slope, however, there where many parts that were steeper and even vertical up to 8ft. We were able to safely executed this job using the hydraulic winch mounted to the Spider.
